1.mBot is a friendly robot that uses led lights and lots of fascinating sensors. With its help, you will learn the basics of robotics and programming! mBot is an educational teammate for children learning to build and program, but also an excellent helper for teachers.
2.LegoMindstorm EV3 - Experience the joy of rebuilding and endless creative possibilities with LEGO® MINDSTORMS®. Combining LEGO elements, motors, sensors and the Smart P Brick with apps and programming software to bring LEGO creations to life, the MINDSTORMS robotics kit inspires LEGO inventors of all ages to command their own creatures, humanoids, snakes, and other LEGO inventions intelligent.
Course Benefits
1.Our mBot lessons does not only focus on working out the programming codes, our students to assemble their own real mBot robot and even add on additional components.
mBot requires hands on actions to build the robot, including assembling the physical components, connecting the circuit cables, fitting-on the sensors, etc. Projects created with mBot are all very practical in real lives.
2.LegoMindstorms EV3 - LEGO EV3 robot has changed the way we think about robotics by making it possible for anyone to build real, working robots. These lessons starts off by showing you how to setup and program your own robot using the Lego Mindstorms EV3 Kit. Also, during the course to provides step-by-step instructions on the entire programming process of the Robot.
Course Objectives
Programming and robotics with the mBot:
- to comprehend the programming language
- to learn the uses of various parts and sensors on the robot.
- to integrate all knowledge together to assemble a unique mBot of his/her own by their unique programming codes.
Programming and robotics with the Lego Mindstorms EV3.The course will focus on the following topics:
- Assembling and disassembling things and building new structure
- Building and programming LEGO robots
- Understanding programming basics such as loops, if statements, and variables
- Understanding measurement records and graphs in a fun way by interacting with robots
- Understanding ultrasonic sensors by programming robots to detect objects around them

2.1.Let mBot move! 2.2.Move in a square 2.3.mBot comes with 3 preset control modes: *Obstacle avoidance mode – mBot can detect an obstacle and change its trajectory to avoid it; *Line tracking mode – mBot can travel freely along different black and white lines; *Manual control mode – you can use the remote control or the Makeblock application to directly program mBot and to explore many other possibilities. |
